Simon experienced first-hand that difficulties in patient recruitment and retention are one of the major causes for delays during clinical trial conduct. He decided to specialize in these areas and set out to find ways to make recruitment and retention more effective.

Sean has been a registered nurse for 12 years starting his career in the acute care hospital setting for three years and working as a professor for the past nine years in the United States.
Sean has a B.S in kinesiology, B.S in Nursing, M.S in Community Systems Administration, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). He joined Link2Trials in July 2022 as a Patient Site Liaison.

Adrianne started her career as a registerd nurse specialized in Cardiology. She has worked in various hospitals in the Netherlands as a registerd nurse but also as a cardiology function lab technician and cardiac catheterization with intervention lab technician, She worked as a Research nurse in the cardiology field. Therefore she knows a lot about how clinical trials are carried out in daily practice.
After working on the development of the Electronic Medical Record in the hospital for a few years, she has chosen to continue her carreer as a freelancer. Since october 2022 she works from the Netherlands as a Patient Site Liasion for Link2trials.

She has gained experience in communication with patients and medical consultations as triage assistant in ‘’GP- office’ for emergencies in Amsterdam. Recently Stefania joined Link2Trials as a PSL. Stefania works from the Netherlands, but she has also helped recruit patients for British studies.

After completing her studies as a nurse, Cindy worked in Intensive Care before working as an independent nurse practitioner. Cindy has been working in our call team for 1 year now, contacting our volunteers applying for Dutch, Belgian and English studies to find suitable candidates.
She does all this from sunny Egypt, where she has been living for 3 years now.

Claire is a registered nurse in the UK. Upon qualifying she worked on an acute haematology ward. After a short time, she made the transition to oncology research nursing. With a BSc in Biological sciences and an MSc in nursing,

Aleksandra has been working in healthcare since 2016. She worked in various healthcare settings in the UK, including hospitals and community care. After graduating from East Anglia University, she worked as a community nurse, looking after patients with long-term conditions in the comfort of their own homes. She's recently moved back to Poland after living 10 years in the UK. Aleksandra joined Link2Trials in June 2024 and is very excited to be a part of clinical research that plays a huge role in improving the quality of care.

Throughout her whole career Marianne has been responsible for managing sensitive personal data and since 2015 data privacy became her field of expertise. Marianne has over 15 years of knowledge and experience on data privacy and data security.
In 2019 Marianne joined Link2Trials as our Data Protection Officer and is responsible for keeping save the sensitive personal data patients and clients share with us.
Marianne received a BSc in Commercial Economics and is a Certified Data Protection Officer.

Aad has over 25 years of international sales and business development experience in the IT and pharmaceutical industry.
Being responsible for business development Aad has always been a strong advocate of customer relationship management, customer experience and customer satisfaction.
All three are part of what the pharmaceutical industry is focusing on today: patient centricity and patient experience. Together with Prof. dr. Sjaak Bloem, Aad developed the Subjective Health Experience Methodology (SEHM) to improve patient adherence during clinical trials.
Prior to his career in business development, Aad fulfilled various positions as project director, business consultant and IT Director in the pharmaceutical industry, the automotive industry, the manufacturing industry, and local and national governments in the Netherlands.

From November 2011, Sjaak Bloem is working for Nyenrode Business Universiteit as a professor of Health care consumers & experienced health at the Center for Supply Chain Management and Marketing. He is an expert in health consumer behavior, methodology and health innovations.
From 2000 on, Sjaak has worked at Janssen Benelux (pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson) in several jobs and functions. Furthermore, he was member (secretary, lead communication) of the board of the Pension Fund Johnson & Johnson The Netherlands (2002-2015).
From 2013 onwards, Sjaak is a member of the Advisory Board of the Academy of Media and User Experience (Avans Hogeschool, Breda) and a consultant of the quality institute for Achmea Zorgverzekeringen (dementia, mantle and the elderly, the disabled).
From 2013 until 2014, Sjaak was a member of the Board of Trustees of Stichting Zelforganisatie Rotterdam. He was a jury member of the International Health Battle and member of the program IAB4 from 2012 to 2014.
In 2012, he was a Juror for the IAB4 contest (Brabantse Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij). He participates in the Nyenrode GfK Ziekenhuismonitor and was a jury member at the Bielat Pitch event in 2015 (Thomas More Campus, Turnhout, Belgium).

Hadil majored in analytical chemistry at the VU University Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He has a background of 17 years in clinical development and assumed several roles within the pharmaceutical and clinical contract research industry.
Hadil has acquired extensive experience managing international clinical trials (phase I-IV) within a wide range of therapeutic areas. He became an entrepreneur in 2006 and has since combined several functions that are all related to business development and innovation in the pharmaceutical and clinical domain.
Hadil co-founded several service-driven pharmaceutical companies, including the contract research service providers Herakles Life Sciences Group in 2007 and CR2O in 2008, acting as Executive Managing Director and CEO to date, respectively.
All his entrepreneurial initiatives are geared towards making innovative treatments accessible to those in need.
