In this Q&A series we answer questions we have received from our customer base.

#2: How do we measure the effectiveness of online patient recruitment campaigns?

We measure the effectiveness of our online patient recruitment campaigns by:

  1. Conversion rate: the percentage of visitors to a recruitment website who enroll in a study.

  2. Cost per enrolment: the total cost of the campaign divided by the number of patients enrolled.

  3. Source tracking: tracking the sources of website traffic, such as search engines, social media, and email campaigns, to determine which sources drive the most enrolments.

  4. Bounce rate: the percentage of visitors to a recruitment website who leave after only visiting one page.

  5. Time on site: visitors’ average time on a recruitment website.

  6. Engagement rate: the percentage of visitors to a recruitment website who take a specific action, such as filling out a form or downloading a brochure.

By tracking these metrics, you can determine the effectiveness of your online patient recruitment campaigns and make data-driven decisions to improve their performance.
